Carmen Pabon proudly carries the vibrant spirit of her Puerto Rican upbringing into her life in Virginia. A psychology student, she is passionate about advocating for families facing financial hardship and believes that no one should have to choose between their basic needs and their dreams. Growing up in Puerto Rico and witnessing the challenges her community faced, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane María, inspired her commitment to building a more equitable future. Through Miss Grand DC, Maryland & Virginia, Carmen hopes to honor her heritage while championing opportunities that allow individuals and families to pursue their ambitions with confidence and security.
