As a writer, her work is rooted in the belief that storytelling can be a form of healing. She is committed to helping people feel seen, understood, and less alone.

Through Miss Grand DC, Maryland & Virginia, Amanda hopes to show up as something real and grounded—reminding others that their stories matter, that confidence begins with embracing who you are, and that healing is a process of becoming.
